Official Visit to India by Minister for Culture, Community and Youth and Second Minister for Law Edwin Tong SC

1.             Minister for Culture, Community and Youth and Second Minister for Law Edwin Tong SC is on an official visit to Delhi, India, from 26 to 29 November 2022.

2.             Minister Tong will be attending the SIAC Annual India Conference 2022 organised by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) on 26 November. The conference aims to discuss the changes in the field of international arbitration to respond to the needs of users and global developments, the emergence of various challenges and opportunities, and the new pathways forward for international arbitration. At the Conference, Minister Tong will participate in a fireside chat, moderated by Darius J. Khambata from the SIAC Court of Arbitration.

3.             Minister Tong will also chair roundtable discussions with the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (LKYSPP) alumni, and legal practitioners in India, to exchange views on legal and dispute resolution services, and other developments in Singapore and India.   

4.             Minister Tong is accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Law.
